The Game of Money continued
New Player : “ What’s this Game that I have to Play?”
Board master : “ Kind of like Monopoly only bigger”
New Player “ What’s the Point?”
Board master : “Get as much money as You can from everyone else.
The one with the most wins.”
New Player : “How do I do that?”
Board master :“ Buy Property and Businesses and such, so You can make money off of other people.”
New Player : “ How many players are there?”
Board master : Billions.
New Player : How much Money and property is there?
Board master :Trillions and trillions.
New Player : How much does property cost?
Board master : As much as it can bring. Quite expensive.
New Player : How much money do I get?
Board master : $500
New Player : How much Money does everyone else have?
Board master : All the rest.
New Player : That doesn’t seen right.
Board master : Every new guy starts the same. That makes it fair.
New Player : But what about the others?
Board master : They’ve been playing for Years and Years.
New Player : I don’t think I like the odds of this Game. I don’t want to play.
Board master :You have to play.
New Player : What if I refuse to roll.
Board master :We’ll roll for You.
New Player : What if I go broke.
Board master :Then We throw You out in the Street with No food .
New Player : This is a screwed up scary game.
Board master :That’s life. Suck it up. Roll.
New Player : Wait a minute . What are the rules?
Board master :Here’s a set of beginner rules for You.
New Player : What about everyone else?
Board master : Different rules for different people. It’s complicated. Just don’t break them. Oh, Yeah We can change them at anytime. Kind of make them up as We go along.
New Player : Who Makes these Rules?
Now the scary part about the above scenario is this is just a simplified version of the Real Game of Life and Money. The Real Game is Much More complicated . It’s no wonder the Real Game of Money breeds so much cheating and corruption and why few ever master the Game.
